  • Frank Ortiz

    OWNER

Frank attended his first yoga class in April 2015 and from then on he was hooked. He began yoga as a way to stay fit and healthy while easing the impact on his knees and ankles. He soon found that yoga was so much more. Frank believes yoga is a way of life, a method, a thought process, a feeling you carry with yourself all day everyday.

In June 2016, Frank completed his 200 hour yoga teacher training under the guidance of Jared McCann at Lighthouse Yoga School. Through that experience he deepened his understand of asana, pranayama and meditation.

Frank began teaching at Reveille Yoga in October of 2017. His love for advanced asana is shared through his advanced classes. His ultimate respect for calmness and learned flexibility is brought in through his Yin classes.

When Frank isn’t at the studio sharing his love for the yoga practice, he is traveling with his husband or is home with his cats and tortoise.

  • Angelique Baxter

Angelique has been practicing yoga for 10 years. She was a former dancer and started dancing at the age of 3 and was classically trained in ballet and tap. When she suddenly had to give up dancing she turned to yoga and instantly fell in love. Yoga taught her so much more than all the years she dedicated in dancing. She loved the idea that within yoga, she could truly express herself with no judgments or worries.

A 200hr yoga alliance certified teacher, Angelique’s classes are filled with "flowy flows" to get your body and heart rate moving. She also offers options for you to challenge yourself or modify. She hopes that everyone who practices with her come as they are and consider their yoga mat a safe place - a home.

When she’s not teaching yoga you can catch her at the front desk, taking classes, and cuddling her cats Eloise and Lucy at home!

  • Dakota Pollock

Dakota first started her yoga journey in 2011, and shortly thereafter became certified as a personal trainer. Yoga was a special place for her, somewhere that she felt safe, whole, and present. Her respect, gratitude, and admiration for her teachers grew and in 2021 she decided it was time to elevate her own practice by completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Prema Yoga so that she could begin sharing what she knew, felt and learned along the way with others. Dakota is a high school anatomy and biology teacher, has 5 kids, a dog, a cat and a tortoise. She enjoys being inside, outside, doing this or that… whatever brings joy in that moment for her and those around her.

  • Janea Alcé

Janea began her journey on the yogic path in 2015 while looking for an outlet from the busyness of life. Yoga helped her uncover parts of herself and inspired her to live mindfully from day to day. In 2017 she decided she wanted to learn more about the sacred practice. In July 2018 she completed her 200 hour teacher training at Nirvana School of Classical Yoga under the leadership of Leigh Anne Neal. She will always be a student of the practice and is beyond grateful for the teachers who have inspired her along the way. Her classes offer a moderate mindfulness flow and the space to turn inward. Her hope is to help others elevate their minds and soul with yoga as the vehicle.

  • Janet Viscome

Janet’s yoga journey is pretty inspiring! After being diagnosed with spondylolisthesis in the mid-90s, she turned to yoga to help with the pain from compression. It worked wonders for her, balancing out the effects of high-impact sports and long hours spent sitting at a desk. By 2012, she realized she wanted to dive deeper into yoga and earned her RYT200 certification to start teaching. Now, she’s all about helping others find strength, balance, and a sense of connection through yoga.

When she’s not on the mat, you can probably find Janet out on the slopes in Mammoth, wake-surfing in Lake Havasu or Needles, or mountain biking in the local mountains.

  • Kayla Mangoba

Kayla began her yoga journey in 2020 as a high school elective and quickly fell in love with the practice. What started as a class soon became a meaningful part of her life, inspiring her to share yoga with friends and family and deepen her understanding of the practice.

In 2024, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Prana Yoga Center in La Jolla. For Kayla, yoga is about much more than physical strength—it is also an opportunity to cultivate resilience, confidence, and self-awareness. She believes that every student deserves to feel comfortable exploring movement in a way that works for their body. Her classes encourage students to explore their practice with curiosity, offering opportunities to both challenge themselves and honor where they are each day.

When she's not on the mat, you can find Kayla balancing her studies in biology and business, training for her next marathon, or exploring new corners of the world.

  • Kyra Huckaby

Born and raised in California, Kyra attended her first yoga class when she was 16. Quickly, she fell in love. Mostly she enjoyed the idea that everyone was practicing the same thing completely different.

She attended The Marianne Wells 200-hr YTT in Costa Rica in December 2015. Kyra’s class is fun and playful, with options to amp it up a notch or tone it down. She hopes everyone coming to her classes challenges themselves by crossing boundaries they never thought possible. Her main goal as an instructor is create a beautiful balance of staying in tune with yourself, and getting lost in the moment.

  • Laurel Labate

Laurel has always loved movement, to the point that it’s hard for her to sit still! Growing up, she was always trying new activities and sports. Then, in 2008 she found yoga while living in S. Korea. After about 5 years of personal practice, she knew she wanted to teach but it would take her another 6 years to make time for official training. She completed her 200 hr RYT training in 2020 at Just Yoga in Corona.

Beyond just physical movement and challenge, Laurel believes yoga has brought so much more depth to her life, and given her tools that she didn’t even know she needed! She credits Pranayama techniques for helping breath through two home births and find calm in daily life with said children. Biomechanics has helped her understand certain injuries and helped her heal. Now, she loves to share those tools with others in her classes. She enjoys teaching creative flow classes with a focus on biomechanics.

When not practicing yoga, you can find Laurel (not sitting still) running around with her kids, hiking, or trying to garden.

  • Mara Bowdidge

A Massachusetts native that found a forever home in sunny California. Mara began practicing yoga in 2000 and found it to be an incredibly healing practice. Now teaching for over 10 years, her classes are full of energy, nonstop flow, loud music, and laughter. Delivered in English and Sanskrit, or ASL, while being deeply committed to fostering an inclusive space for all.

"Be real. Be true. Simply be you."

  • Megan Merriam

Megan, yogi & mother of two beautiful girls- discovered yoga in 2014 while attending RCC and fell in love. She found her practice at a pivotal time and dove head first into receiving her 200 Hour Certification in 2019 through The Yoga & Ayurveda Center in Pennsylvania. After receiving her 200 Hour, she started facilitating group event, private sessions, and community yoga to then soon land her feet at Tula.

Over the past 5 years, her practice and teaching has evolved and expanded. Megan loves leading a fun power class while also enjoying the stillness and teachings of Sound Healing, Meditation, Yin, and Restorative.

Connection to breath and body is always her intention when stepping on to her mat or leading a group of yogis. Personally, adding spice & some jokes to guide you through a fun flow or reminding you of your breath & sensations as we melt into our long holds.
If she’s not leading a class, you can find her raising her little girls, planning her next upcoming workshop(s), or hiding in the corner during a group class pretending to not be there hehe.

  • Taylor Kimble

Taylor has always had a deep love for intentional movement - as a former gymnast she relied heavily on the connection to her body to carry her through. Upon facing health challenges which created severe pain and inflammation throughout her body, she turned to yoga as a way to heal through mindfulness and more gentle movement. She began her practice in 2012 when she was introduced to a more holistic way of living and has continued on the path inward ever since; falling even deeper in love around 2016 when she became a certificate holistic health coach studying integrative nutrition. Combining this with her practice was a saving grace. Taylor completed her 200hr YTT through Yoga Blue Fitness in 2020- with a focus in Hatha yoga & meditation (it kept her sane during quarantine) She believes that building trust within our bodies is the foundation for creating a beautiful connection allowing us to listen to our unique physical needs. Through her classes and in our everyday life she is here to remind us that we are safe, supported and Divinely Whole. When she’s not in the studio you can most likely find Taylor at the beach, in a coffee shop or writing music.
